Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte has earlier ordered a state of public health emergency following a confirmed local transmission of COVID-19 in the country.
In view of the increasing reports of exposure of government employees to the viral disease, work in the Procurement Service (PS) Main and PhilGEPS office is suspended effective 12 pm of 12 March 2020. Work suspension is until Monday, 16 March 2020, to implement preventive measures to contain the virus.
The PS urges all its client-agencies and partner merchants to utilize online channels and platforms in transacting with PS-DBM.
