Interested suppliers are invited to join the Webinar on Supporting the Local Economy through Domestic Preference in Government Procurement on 1 October 2020, from 8:30 AM – 12:00 PM, through Zoom. The Webinar will also be streamed live in the GPPB Facebook account.
The Webinar will highlight the rules on the application of Domestic Preference for the procurement of Goods covered under RA No. 11494 or the Bayanihan to Recover as One Act (Bayanihan 2). To complement this topic, invited subject matter experts from the Department of Trade and Industry, Food and Drug Authority, and DOST – Philippine Textile Research Institute will guide Suppliers on the necessary procedures and requirements to obtain the Domestic Bidders Certificate. Only participants who have successfully secured a slot to the webinar will receive the confirmation e-mail from GPPB-TSO.
