In commemoration of the National Reading Month 2021, the Procurement Service - Department of Budget and Management (PS-DBM) highlights the availability of the handbook on Philippine Government Procurement (RA 9184) – 8th edition offered as a common-use supply and equipment, priced at only PhP 37.21 per book.
The month of November is likewise declared as the Book Development Month in the Philippines. Among the themes for this year’s celebration is "Read Pinoy!" to inspire Filipinos to read more Philippine-authored books.
For its part, the PS-DBM encourages reading among employees through simple efforts such as the daily blasting of relevant news concerning the agency, in collaboration with the DBM-Budget Information and Training Service.
