This is to inform all stakeholders of the Procurement Service - Department of Budget and Management (PS-DBM) about the upcoming decommissioning of the PhilGEPS 1.5 and the corresponding transition schedule to the Modernized PhilGEPS (mPhilGEPS).
In relation to the phased implementation of the mPhilGEPS, please take note of the following key dates:
• 31 October 2025: Last day of posting of new procurement opportunities in PhilGEPS 1.5 by Procuring Entities (PEs) currently utilizing the eBidding Facility
• 31 December 2025: Last day of posting of new procurement opportunities in PhilGEPS 1.5 by PEs currently utilizing mPhilGEPS features other than the eBidding Facility (i.e., APP CSE, Virtual Store, eMarketplace)
• 28 February 2026: Last day of posting of new procurement opportunities by all remaining PEs
• March 2026: No new procurement opportunities shall be posted in PhilGEPS 1.5; PEs shall only be allowed to use the system to close or complete procurement activities, and post awards and contracts for all procurement opportunities posted within the above cut-off dates (i.e. 31 October 2025, 31 December 2025, and 28 February 2026)

We enjoin all Procuring Entities to take note of this development to ensure a smooth transition to the use of mPhilGEPS platform, in line with the provisions of the New Government Procurement Act (NGPA) and its Implementing Rules and Regulations. .
