By invitation from the Philippine Judicial Academy (PhilJA) of the Supreme Court (SC) of the Philippines, Procurement Service – Department of Budget and Management (PS-DBM) Director for Procurement Group, Atty. Genmaries Entredicho–Caong, provided an overview of the agency’s best practices, digitalization efforts, and other reform initiatives to the interim personnel of the pilot Offices of the Regional Court Managers (ORCMs). This activity, which was part of a week-long event, took place on June 21, 2024 at the Admiral Hotel in Manila.

The Procurement Service – Department of Budget and Management (PS-DBM) is set to establish its new Data Center which will house the expansion of the agency’s growing digital operation, ultimately geared towards bolstering the government’s digital transformation agenda to foster national development.

The Procurement Service – Department of Budget and Management (PS-DBM) engaged its partners from the automotive industry on the use of the Philippine Government Electronic Procurement System’s (PhilGEPS) Electronic Marketplace, or the eMarketplace, on June 19, 2024, in preparation for the launching of the facility with motor vehicles as the pilot product.

In preparation for the launching of the Modernized PhilGEPS’ (mPhilGEPS) Electronic Marketplace (eMarketplace) Facility, the Procurement Service – Department of Budget and Management (PS-DBM), through its Philippine Government Electronic Procurement System (PhilGEPS) Group, facilitated on June 11, 2024 the eMarketplace Hackathon 3.0 among the Procurement Management Office personnel, faculty members, and students of Polytechnic University of the Philippines (PUP) Main Campus, Manila.
