Engaging Government Buyers Through FGDs

Focus Group Discussions (FGDs) with client agencies/government buyers were undertaken by the PS-PhilGEPS in May and June as part of the Communication and Marketing Plan for the launch of the Retail Store. Aside from disseminating information on the new ordering process for commonly-used supplies and equipment (CSE), it was also the intention of the FGDs to discuss with the participants other topics such as the new e-APR forms; the submission of the Annual Procurement Plan for CSEs; the PS Returns and Refund Policy and the reconciliation of accounts/balances with the PS. The FGDs were also an avenue for the PS to solicit feedback from the buyers and this was made through a Survey Form that was filled-in by the participants, talked about in breakout sessions and discussed by the FGD group as a whole during the end of activities.
