By invitation from the Government Procurement Policy Board – Technical Support Office (GPPB-TSO), the Procurement Service – Department of Budget and Management (PS-DBM) sets up a Public Assistance (PA) corner at the GPPB Building in Diliman, Quezon City for inquiries about Common-use Supplies and Equipment (CSE) procurement, as part of the GPPB-TSO’s annual Procurement Forum. The event commenced on March 6 and will conclude on March 8, 2024.

Representatives from the PS-DBM Marketing and Sales Division (MSD) of the Operations Group and the Customer Service Section of the Philippine Government Electronic Procurement System (PhilGEPS) Group manned the booth, providing assistance and support to event participants for clarifications on CSE procurement, procurement policy reforms, and PhilGEPS system, among others.

With the theme, “Strategic Procurement Excellence: Achieving Better Outcomes Through Early Procurement Planning,” the Procurement Forum features technical sessions aimed at increasing efficiency in managing procurement projects through procurement planning and market scoping.

PS-DBM, through participation in such activities, continues to strengthen alliances with partner government agencies such as GPPB-TSO geared toward creating a more efficient, effective, and transparent procurement process — especially in this time of public procurement transformation.
