As a manifestation of its preference for local products, the Procurement Service-Department of Budget and Management (PS-DBM) makes available brooms or walis tambo manufactured by community-based suppliers as part of its roster of common-use supplies and equipment (CSE). This CSE is presently sold at PS-DBM depot offices in Butuan and Cagayan de Oro for regional client-agencies.

The Procurement Service-Department of Budget and Management (PS-DBM) facilitated a series of client learning engagements (CLE) for various government agencies in December 2025. These included the Philippine National Oil Company (PNOC), the primary government corporate entity for energy resources; the Philippine Information Agency (PIA), the official state news agency; the Sugar Regulatory Administration (SRA)-Department of Agriculture, the country’s sugar industry development and regulatory body; and San Lazaro Hospital (SLH), the national referral center for infectious and tropical diseases.
