 Not long after several typhoons lashed the Bicol region, the disastrous impact continues to linger. In support of humanitarian efforts and as part of its social responsibility activities, the Procurement Service – Department of Budget and Management (PS-DBM) initiated an “Adopt a Child School Kit Drive” on January 21, 2025 to extend assistance to the children in calamity-affected communities.

 By invitation from the German Development Cooperation (GIZ), Procurement Service – Department of Budget and Management (PS-DBM) participated in the Conference on Association of Southeast Asian Nation (ASEAN) Sustainable Consumption and Production (SCP) Policies and Practices held in Selangor, Malaysia in October 2024.

 The year 2024 is a time of reforms in the Procurement Service - Department of Budget and Management (PS-DBM). Amid this progressive development are other activities beyond procurement procedures that ultimately transformed public procurement nonetheless—such as the ONE PS-DBM Fun Run 2024 that took place at the Academic Oval of the University of the Philippines in Diliman, Quezon City.
