Officials and staff of the Procurement Service – Philippine Government Electronic Procurement System (PS-PhilGEPS) conducted its Annual Strategic Planning Activities last August 19 and 20, 2015 at Fontana Leisure Parks, Clark Freeport Zone, Angeles, Pampanga. The objectives of the activities were: (1) to assess and evaluate the plans and strategies for the year 2015 and calibrate them to achieve if not exceed goals and targets; and (2) to develop plans which will be translated into specific goals, objectives, strategies, programs and projects for 2016. It was also the opportunity for higher management to discuss the recently-approved reorganization of the PS-PhilGEPS.

Agencies are advised to submit their Agency Procurement Requests (APR) for their Microsoft requirements at least three (3) days before the end of the month to be able to utilize the current month's prices . Microsoft prices are based on foreign exchange rates and updated monthly. In order for the Procurement Service and the Microsoft fulfillers to process orders, a lead time of at least three (3) days is required. For APRs received beyond the cut off date, these will be processed using the following month's pricelist.
We wish to reiterate that the PS Retail Store has a NO DELIVERY POLICY.
Clients utilizing the Retail Store must pick the items being bought, check, and bring out the said items on the same day they transacted with the store. No deliveries will be made out of transactions from the PS-PhilGEPS Retail Store.

The Procurement Service-PhilGEPS (PS-PhilGEPS) will be conducting a workshop with the theme “Sharing the Vision, Valuing Partnerships” to engage merchants (manufacturers, suppliers, distributors, traders) that have been doing business with the PS-PhilGEPS as well as invite NEW merchants to participate in the various tenders and opportunities to serve the aggregated requirements of government for commonly required goods and services, as well as its other requirements.
In 2014, the PS-PhilGEPS bought Php 5.4 Billion worth of goods and services that the whole of government required, including some unique requirements of government agencies such as IT equipment, mobility, infrastructure requirements, etc. For 2016, it is envisioned that it will be procuring an estimate of Php 5 Billion worth of commonly required supplies and equipment, and an estimate of Php 6 Billion worth of non-common requirements.
