The PS-PhilGEPS, as part of its initiative to promote Green Public Procurement in the country, introduces LED (Light-Emitting Diode) lighting technologies to replace fluorescent tubes.
For years, fluorescent tubes, for good reason, is the best choice for lighting needs since it was brought to the market in 1973. But now, LED tubes have began to emerge as the more energy efficient, less environmentally harmful and more economical option to fluorescent tube lights. The comparison:

The PS-PhilGEPS officials and staff conducted their team building and annual assessment activities at The Camayan Beach Resort in Subic Bay Free Port, Zambales last March 29 to 31, 2017. Upon arrival at the venue, the crew of the resort welcomed the group and gave an overview of the facilities available as well as the house rules particularly on safety. Mini-games were played and prizes were distributed to lucky winners.
